Assembly/Committee Project Application

Introduction – FY2010 Assembly/Committee Project Application - RENEWAL

The Assembly/Committee project application process and review by the Program Review Subcommittee (PRS) have been in existence for approximately 10 years.  There has been substantial growth and positive change to these entities over time.  It has become evident, however, that in order to be responsive to the current and future project development and funding realities, the system needs to be reviewed and revised. 

 ATS will suspend NEW projects for one (1) year (2010), while continuing to fund eligible (as determined by the Program Review Subcommittee) RENEWAL projects for 2010.  It is planned that new projects will resume in 2011.  Call for applications for new projects would begin in 2010 for the 2011 funding cycle. 

To begin a RENEWAL application, please click on the link below titled FY2010 RENEWAL Application.  Renewal applications are for those projects that were approved by the Program Review Subcommittee and the ATS Board of Directors for the FY2009 Funding Cycle.

Below are detailed instructions for each section of the FY2010 Assembly/Committee Project RENEWAL application.  Please read them carefully and have them available as you work on your application.  If you have any questions, please contact Miriam Rodriguez, Director of Assemblies & Program Review Subcommittee at 212-315-8639 or by e-mail at: mrodriguez@thoracic.org Applications must be submitted electronically to FY2010@thoracic.org .  The deadline for submissions is Wednesday July 15, 2009 at 11pm Eastern Time No late submissions will not be accepted.
