Faculty from the Pediatric Pulmonary Centers
received support from the Pediatric Assembly of The American
Thoracic Society (ATS) to convene a consensus panel on "The Care of
the Child with a Chronic Tracheostomy". The statement has been
reviewed and revised by ATS committee members, who concur with its
recommendations.
