The three highly respected journals published by the ATS, the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (AJRCCM), the American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology (AJRCMB) and the Proceedings of the American Thoracic Society (PATS) are online at http://www.atsjournals.org. Internet access to the journals is one of the many benefits exclusive to ATS members and subscribers.

The AJRCCM focuses on human biology and disease, as well as animal studies, which contribute to the understanding of pathophysiology and treatment of diseases that affect the respiratory system and critically ill patients.

The AJRCMB publishes papers that report significant and original observations in the area of pulmonary biology. The focus of the Journal includes, but is not confined to, cellular, biochemical, molecular, developmental, genetic, and immunologic studies of lung cells and molecules.

The PATS publishes reviews of clinical or basic science commonly resulting from conferences or workshops organized or sponsored by the ATS and/or other organizations. Its purpose is to provide a better understanding of diseases within respiratory and critical care medicine, complementing other articles published in the society's other journals.
